NX It is not possible to change the naming rule after adding the assembly even though Edit option is available.

In 'Export Assembly from Teamcenter' dialog, after adding the assembly, the "Naming Method" is changed from Auto Translate to Naming Rule.

However, the "Naming Method" column still shows as "Auto Translate".

On the Naming Method Column if the user uses MB3 and selects "Edit", its not allowing to change the "Naming Rule".

Once the assembly is added to export assembly from Teamcenter, then it’s not possible to change the Naming Method.

Before adding the assembly user needs to ensure all the required parameters and then add the assembly.

Edit is intended for the complete dialog not only just for "Naming Method" column and hence user gets edit option.

In the below example the columns which are active, those values can be changed using Edit Option.

File Name and Associated Files columns are active, and these values can be changed.

The columns which are grayed out, can't be edited.
