NX part opened in Solid Edge shows no geometry

A user opens an NX Part directly into Solid Edge using the Assembly template.  However, although the part name appears in the Pathfinder, there is no geometry.

Check in NX to see if the PRT file contains Convergent Bodies.

Convergent Modeling allows the combination of NX generated features with imported facet geometry (scanned data) without having to convert any of the modeling data.

Solid Edge does not support Convergent Bodies, hence the reason that no geometry is seen in the Solid Edge Assembly file.
