A user creates a Synchronous cylindrical part with a thread in Solid Edge 2021. They dimension the length of the part, and from one end of the cylinder to the beginning of the thread.
When they apply a chamfer with a 2mm setback the dimensions are retained.
However, when they do the same in Solid Edge 2022 or 2023, the thread moves after the chamfer is applied.
This behavior change was introduced in Solid Edge 2022 as an improvement to the functionality. The behavior in Solid Edge 2021 was considered incorrect, as the thread should move since the cylinder to which the chamfer is being applied is shortened by the chamfer, yet this recompute was not happening. The change of behavior in Solid Edge 2022 onwards rectifies this.
