Solid Edge Hide components does not work when selecting by window

When selecting multiple components of an assembly by the window selection, a user finds the Hide command is not active.

In this example, the user is trying to hide occurrences which contain dimensions.  Consequently, the Hide command is not enabled to use. This is as designed behavior.

Currently, a user can hide dimensions and occurrences separately, but not together. 

Therefore, in order to hide the components it is first necessary to hide the PMI dimensions.

Then it will be possible to select the components by window and Hide will be enabled.
