Solid Edge PMI cannot be placed on FOA member

Cannot place PMI dimensions on a FOA member. Why?

PMI cannot be applied to individual members of an alternate assembly.  You can only apply PMI to all members.  As such  you must check 'Apply edits to all members' at which point PMI will be available.
