NX Preference to force save of CGM file

Forcing the Save Option, 'Save Drawing CGM Data', to always be ON.

Unfortunately, there is no environment variable or Teamcenter variable that controls the Save Option, "Save Drawing CGM Data" to always be ON.

If this needs to be turned ON site wide, the CGM Save option can be turned ON as a SITE Customer Default.
1. In Customer Defaults, set the Defaults Level = Site
2. Expand 'Drafting' and highlight 'General/Setup'.
3. Select the 'Miscellaneous' tab.
4. Toggle ON 'Save CGM Data in Part'. Lock it by selecting the 'Lock' icon for this default.
5. OK the Customer Defaults dialog.
6. Re-start NX.

However, this Customer Default option will only be for new parts using the Blank template. You would have to turn this Save Option ON manually in existing parts.

You may also want to turn this Save Option ON in all Template files so any new parts created from the templates have this turned ON too.
