How to Create a Hinge Line for an Auxiliary View

1.       Open the Drawing.

2.       Choose the Home tab -> View group -> Projected View.

3.       In the View Origin group, under Placement, change the Method to Perpendicular to Line.

4.       Specify the vector by selecting two points along the desired hinge line. The vector will correspond to the hinge line.

5.       Place the Projected View.
