In the drafting environment, when displaying dimension values to two decimal places, the third decimal place value is rounded down instead of rounded. Is this behavior working as expected?
Reproduced Steps:
1. Creating a model with dimension value with more than 3 decimal places > create a dimension in Drafting environment
2. File > Preferences > Drafting > Dimension > Text > Units > Decimal Place = 2
Before changing:
After changing:
The behavior is working as designed, comply with IEEE 754. The example introduced in the sample is the drafting dimension, but it is the same for PMI and sketch.
WORKAROUND:
There is no workaround other than manually editing the text. (Select dimension text > right mouse click > settings > Text > Format > Override Dimension Text)
In addition, some enhancement requests related to "rounding" have been submitted.
