Solid Edge Multi Line Comments File Property

In earlier versions of Solid Edge it was possible to have a multi-line Comments file property and edit it in the file properties.  With the redesigned File Properties dialog of SE2022 and later it appears that the multi-line Comment property is now displayed as single line string and it appears to be no longer possible to have a multi-line Comments property.

Although the multi-line text is displayed as a single line of text, you can hover over the field to see it then displayed correctly as multi-line text:

Whenever the user then edits this field, it will then change over to allow for multi-line entry:

New lines are entered into this field by using the Alt + Enter key combination.

Therefore multi-line text is still supported in the updated File Properties dialog.

If this is not suitable, then the old-style file properties interface can still be accessed.

Inside the new File Properties window then select Ctrl + Shift + F and the old-style dialog is displayed:
