Summary

Details

There is a dimension displayed as PMI. When changing the gap size of the extension line in Sketch environment and go back to Modeling environment, the change is not reflected in PMI and the gap size remains the same.

Reproduced Steps:

1. Create a legacy sketch and the dimension

2. Select the sketch > Mouse right click > “Display as PMI”

3. Verify the current gap size and change it (e.g, from 0 to 20)

*** In case of no Gap size input field in the dialog, please refer to “PL8709747:Unable to specify a gap of the extension line for sketch dimension”.

4. Finish the sketch

Solution

This behavior is due to NX 2212 problem and is fixed in NX 2306 Series.

WORKAROUND:

Please make changes in modeling environment (on PMI dimensions).

Select PMI dimension > Mouth right click > Settings > Line/Arrow > Extension Line > Gap

Notes

The issue occurs only in legacy sketch, not occur in new sketch.

Also, the issue occurs only in Gap and Overhang of the Extension Line.
