I gave the components the user attribute as per material type and detected it in Visual Reporting, but since I cannot select multiple results from the report window, I cannot test them similar (material) attributes at the same time.
Reproduced Steps:
1. Create User Defined Attributes/Attribute Values for Assembly Models
P_MAT: classified into JA..., JP..., HC...
2. Color-coded display for each attribute/attribute value using Visual Reporting command
*** Reference: PL8714956 “Color-code display of components by user-defined attribute”
3. Trying to select multiple results in the search results window
*Multiple selection is not possible.
*For single selection is possible with selecting one result in the listing > right-click > "Send to" > "Execute Check-Mate Tests", though.
SolutionIt's not possible to select multiple results in the visual report search results window. This behavior is working as designed.
WORKAROUND:
By using the component group function, you can deal with it by grouping reports in advance.
1. Assembly Navigator > “Component Groups in Parts” > “Match all of... component Group” > (As the group) put any name in the field
2. “Match all of...” > “Add to Component Group...” > complete the expression with put an attribute in “Name” and a attribute value in “Value” in the input field.
-- Creation Example --
3. HD3D tab > “Controls” > “Define New Report > After entering each items as follows, click "OK“
4. Select a component group listed in the result window > “Send To“ > “Execute Check-Mate Tests”
*** It can be sent by group (multiple components) into "Set Up Tests" dialog and tested it.
