Solid Edge Multiple Part Lists in Draft Files for Different Configurations

Would like to have a draft file with different configurations each with their own parts lists, that are accurate to the configuration shown. 

At the time you place the parts list, there is a button for Link to Active.

This affects how the parts list is created. Is it linked to the same draft internal assembly (as maintained by Draft)? Or is it a new assembly (maintained by Draft). Don’t think of this in terms of the assembly file. It is the assembly structure internal to the draft file.

Uncheck the option for Link to Active at the time the second parts list is being created. It cannot be changed after the parts list is created.

Then a different configuration can be set on the second parts list in the Parts List Properties – List Control Tab.

The first parts list displays all parts. The second parts list has a configuration set on it to hide one part.
