It seems that the attribute "PLibPartType" is added when using existing data with "Stock" or "Place Part" functions in routing.
What is the use of ‘PLibPartType’ attribute?
SolutionThe PLibPartType is an internal attribute that Routing uses to identify the category (i.e. Reuse Library node) to which a mechanical part belongs. In the Application View (APV) file (e.g. ugroute_mech_metric.xml), there are start nodes listed that point to the root node in the Part Library (PLV) file (e.g. ugroute_mech_metric.plv). Each of these start nodes in Routing Mechanical has a corresponding PLibPartType integer value. When a customer places a part from the reuse library, Routing stamps the PLibPartType integer on it telling Routing what Reuse Library node it came from. Other commands in Routing behave differently based on what type of part it is (i.e. elbow, tee, pump, etc.).
