NX What is the difference between the exported ZIP file and PLMXML from connection navigator?

During the execution of “Export All” command from electrical connection navigator, when "ZIP" file is selected as the file format, PLMXML file and JSON file are exported.

And even when "PLMXML” file is selected as the file format, PLMXML file and JSON file are exported

What is the difference between ZIP file and PLMXML file?

What information do JSON files contain?

The ZIP file just rolls the PLMXML and JSON into a single zip file.

JSON files could contain component orientations, splice or bundle diameter information.
