In this issue Solid Edge data managed files (SEDM) are not completely indexed, which may cause problems with "Where used" and "Open Drawing" functionality in a Server/Client environment.
SolutionThe cause for this is that data may not have been properly indexed by the underlying Microsoft Indexer process.
Consequently, a Debug Registry Switch is provided with Maintenance Pack 12 of Solid Edge Version 2022 which will support the Microsoft Windows Indexing Process.
The following Registry Switch needs to be added as a DWORD (32bit) value on Client machines:
Registry Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Siemens\Solid Edge\Version 222\DEBUG
Key: ENABLE_SEDM_INDEXER_ADDSTREAM
Switch Value : 0=off 1=on
