How to Modify the Aspect Ratio of Appended Text in a drafting dimension.

How to Modify the Aspect Ratio of Appended Text in Drafting

1.       Open the Drawing.

2.       Choose the Home tab -> Dimension group -> Rapid.

3.       Create the dimension, but do not place. Stop moving until a window appears.

4.       In the second text box in the second row, enter the desired appended text.

5.       Click Text Settings.

6.       Expand the Text group and choose Appended Text.

7.       In the Scope group, deselect Apply to Entire Dimension.

8.       In the Format group, alter the Text Aspect Ratio as desired. This alteration only affects the appended text.

9.       Click Close.

10.   Place the dimension.

11.   Click Close.

12.   The dimension will now be applied.
