Tecnomatix Use Functional Mockup Unit (FMU) in Process Simulate

How to import a Functional Mockup Unit (FMU) into Process Simulate

Steps to import a FMU into Process Simulate:

1) Export the FMU from an external program (i.e. OpenModellica)

2) Copy the exported file (*.fmu) into the FMI Vault under the Process Simulate Installation Location. The default path should be  ...\Tecnomatix_<Version_Nr>\emPower\Scripting\FMI\Vault

3) Extract the *fmu file into the Vault folder. This creates a folder containing the model and the library components 

4) Open Process Simulate to use the FMU in the SCL-Editor. (Note: Before the FMU can be used all instances of Process Simulate have to be closed)
