NX for Design

Summary

Details

The user is not able to use MS PGotic font in Note.

Solution

TTC files are TrueType Collection files that contain the data needed to represent multiple font styles and font weights; this is a collection. So it displayed first font of the collection only in Note.

Example: MS Gotic is a TTC file, it contains multiple font styles [MS Gotic, MS UI Gothic, and  MS PGothic] it displays only MS Gotic font.

On the other hand, TTF files are TrueType Font files, that contain the data required to work with only one font style or one font-weight (for example: Regular, Bold, or Light).

If each font is defined as a .ttf file, even proportional fonts [MS UI Gothic, and MS PGothic ] can be used in NX Note.
