Tecnomatix Error: Tecnomatix 17.0 is not currently the active version.

The PS 15.1.2 and PS 17.0 versions were installed on the machine and then the PS 15.1.2 was uninstalled when the PS 17.0 was set as active version. After that the PS 17.0 can not be launched or uninstalled.

This problem might also occur when the first unsuccessful/canceled installation was partially written into the registries, so next time the system recognized it as the version already installed on that machine, but not set as the active version. 

1. search for Tecnomatix 17.0 x64 in the Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products registries 
2. open the Regedit, rename the Tecnomatix to Tecnomatix_ and create new keys - Tecnomatix - eMPower - 17.0 
3. start the installation of 17.0 again, the installation started and the system recognized that the 17.0 is already installed. Select Remove from the modify/repair/remove options. The removing ends with the exit code: 1. This is ok. 
4. Go back to registries and remove the created entry Tecnomatix - eMPower - 17.0 and rename Tecnomatix_ back to Tecnomatix
5. Start the setup of 17.0 again, now it is finished correctly.
