How to trim a circular Detail View boundary.

1. Open a drawing.
2. Choose the Home tab -> View -> Detail View.
3. Create the Detail View.
4. Click Close.
- Note: This Detail View is still Associative to the Parent View.
5. On the Boundary of the Detail View and right click.
6. Select Convert to Independent Detail.
7. Right click the boundary and select View Dependent Edit.
8. In the View Dependent Edit dialog, Under the Add Edits group, choose Edit Object Segments.
9. Under the Wireframe Edits group, change Line Style to Invisible.
10. Click Apply.
11. Select the circular boundary and the lines that will be used to define how the Detail View Boundary will be trimmed.
12. Click away and then Click OK.
13. In the Edit Object Segments dialog, click Cancel.
14. Click OK.
15. Right click on the outside box and select Expand.
16. Choose File -> Preferences -> Drafting.
17. In the Drafting Prefences dialog, expand the Drawing Views group and select Workflow.
18. In the Border group, deselect Display.
19. Click OK.
