NX How to define/edit the quantity for a non-geometric component.

How to define/edit the quantity for a non-geometric component, which has been designated with a custom Unit of Measure (UOM) in Teamcenter.

By default when a part is designated with a custom UOM , NX treats them as non-geometric components.

With default UoM "each" the aggregate quantity value is shown in the column, which is undefined when UOM is changed from default to custom.

In such cases the quantity value will turn as "0.0000" for these components.

Inside NX, You can edit the quantity in the Assembly Navigator by right-clicking on the component, choosing Properties, and on the Assembly tab enter the number in the Quantity box.
