NX Error - The requested license feature is not available studio_free_form

In NX 2212 the following error may be encountered when selecting any of the Surfacing commands that require a 'studio_free_form' license feature, for example 'Studio Surface' and 'Styled Sweep' etc.

The issue occurs when the license file does not contain a Mach bundle that includes the 'studio_free_form' feature.

This error did not occur in NX 2206 if the license file included the 'NX Value Based Licensing' features 'nx_design_token'.

Changes were made in NX 2212 to address the licensing anomaly where 'core' surfacing  functionality was enabled by 'nx_design_token' licenses. As a result, customers without the required 'studio_free_form' license now receive the appropriate error message, shown above .

Customers that currently have NX Mach 1 or Mach 2 license bundles need to upgrade to Mach 3 to access to this Surface modeling functionality.
