Solid Edge Solid Edge Data management is enabled when using Teamcenter Share

When we transfer a customer to XaaS, a new license feature is added to the license file: xcsolidedge.  This license will enable the Teamcenter Share portal - a portal that helps you to collaborate on design and engineering.

The xcsolidedge feature will enable Solid Edge Data Management functionality by default (hard coded) to force a user to work in a managed mode and the connector is set as the vault location.  

Is it possible to disable Solid Edge Data Management?

The only way to disable Sold Edge Data Management is by removing the xcsolidedge feature from your license files. However, this will also remove access to Teamcenter Share.  Teamcenter Share requires Solid Edge Data Management to be fully functional.
