NX Unable to select multiple faces in WAVE Geometry Linker

When performing WAVE Geometry Linker, able to only select faces within the same component that contains the first selected face. It is unable to select faces in other components.

Reproduced Steps:

1. Prepare for an assembly and some components

2. Open the assembly with the load option “Partially Load” or “Partially Load – Lightweight Display”

3. Assembly tac > Interpart Links group > WAVE Geometry Linker

   -1. Selection tab : Face

   -2. Face Option : Single Face

*** Only faces within the same component that contains the first selected face can be selected.

The behavior is due to NX problem and occurs only in NX 2206 and NX 2212 Series. However, the problem is fixed in NX 2306 Series.

Workaround : Opening an assembly with some load option other than “Partially Load” or “ Partially Load – Lightweight Display” and performing WAVE Geometry Linker.

In case of using “Partially Load” or “Partially Load = Lightweight Display”:

- Release the selected faces once and select faces in other components first then select the released faces.

or

- Divide the command multiple times (by component) and perform

The behavior occurs in case of using “Single Face”, “Face and Adjacent Faces” and “Body Faces” as “Face Option”.
