After creating an angle dimension between one edge and the leader line of the ordinate dimension, performed DXF export. And then, attempting to edit that angular dimension will cause "Internal Error".
Reproduced Steps:
1. Open new part
2. Create an ordinate dimension
3. Create an angular dimension between one edge and the leader of the ordinate dimension
4. File > Export > AutoCAD DXF/DWG...( Any option can be selected for reproduction.)
5. Double-click the angular dimension
*** “Internal Error” occurs
The behavior is due to NX problem. It occurs in NX 1953 - NX 2212 Series, but it is fixed in NX 2306 Series.
Workaround : Creating an angular dimension to or from extension line on the origin side (0) does not cause any problems.
This phenomenon occurs when an angular dimension is created between extension line that is not on the origin side.
In this case, save the file once and check that the part is Up-to-data status before exporting DXF/DWG. You can avoid the issue with it.
In addition, once an internal error occurs, the angular dimension must be deleted and recreated.
NotesThis problem occurs when not saving the part file after :
- create a new angle dimension between the ordinate dimension
or
- execute IGES export
