NX Probe is positioned incorrectly in Managed NX CMM Inspection.

When a Probe is loaded from Classification/MRL, sometimes it is placed horizontally in the CMM Machine Tool. How can this be resolved?

The reason a probe might be placed horizontally(incorrectly) on the CMM Machine is if it is placed directly under the Z slide in the structure of the Machine View.

The probe needs to be mount(placed) under the Head Device always.

You need to follow the following steps.

1. Load the machine

2. Load a Device(which get mounted on the Z slide)

3. Load a Probe Tool (Which gets mounted on the Head)

Please make sure the Probe in under the Head and not under the Z slide.
