In the Hole command using the Threaded Hole option...
How to prevent the user from selecting: Radial Engage = Custom
This allows the user to modify the Tip Angle of the Threaded Hole and other settings that should be locked down.
Any "Custom" setting is going to allow the user to customize the options.
However, you can remove "Custom" settings.
For the 'Threaded' Hole type, if you want to remove "Radial Engage = Custom", you have to edit the "NX_Thread_Standard.xml" file.
**In a text editor, open the file: NX_Thread_Standard.xml
Option #1:
Remove any rows/entries that have "RadialEngage="Custom".
Re-save the file. Re-start NX.
Option #2:
Edit each "RadialEngage=Custom" to have a specific length like the rest of the rows/entries. Re-save the file.
Re-start NX.
* Now there is no "Radial Engage = Custom" option. The user can only select certain lengths, and that will cause the 'Tip Angle' to be grayed out.
