Is it possible to run license server on virtual machine ?

License server on a Virtual Machine is supported. The license is given on the machines composite ID by running the getCID utility.

The only thing which you need to keep in mind is that the composite ID should not change and has to be static.

Operating in a public or virtual private cloud in an Amazon EC2 environment, you can run the license server on an AMI instance and then deploy instances of the Flex Enabled application as one or more license clients in the cloud, in your enterprise network, or in both, with all clients pointing to the license server in the cloud.
