NX About PDF Relations in TCIN

In Customer Default [Gateway]-[Export]-[PDF]-[Teamcenter Integration] tab,

Set Relation to Manifestation (or Specification).

When exporting the PDF, it will be created under Item Revision and UGMASTER dataset

In NX 1926 it can be deleted, but in NX 1980 and above it is not possible.

Is there a way to make it without Relations like NX 1926?

The said behavior is enhanced with NX1980, See the below statement in the NX documentation.

By default, the Relation customer default is set to the new No Relation option, so exported PDF or CGM datasets are attached to the NX drawing under the source part. When you select the Specification or Manifestation option, the PDF or CGM datasets are exported as a specification or manifestation under the item revision, with a relation to the NX drawing.

The said application behavior is as designed and cannot be changed.

The functionality for this area has been enhanced to accommodate the Item Revision being able to realize the association to the source dataset; given that there could be multiple source datasets in an Item Revision. Previously, this association was not there and caused issues for other downstream use cases.

Moving forward, to delete the PDF dataset the user should cut the PDF dataset from the source dataset and then delete the PDF. The deletion of the PDF while under the Item Revision is successful once the PDF has been cut from the source dataset.
