NX Sketch "Symmetric" constraint does not work

Summary

Details

I added a "Symmetrical" constraint based on a line created in the sketch environment, but it works temporarily, but it does not become a persistent relation. If making use of an existing X-axis or Y-axis as a reference line, it works as a persistent relation. Is this behavior as designed?

Reproduced Steps:

1. Create 2 circles and a line

2. Select 2 circles, a line and “Make Symmetric”

3. Move one circle somewhere

Solution

The behavior is working as expected.

Workaround : do one of the following

1. Use X or Y axis as “Make Symmetric”

2. Explicitly select (use) "Create Persistent Relations" in the sketch scene bar and add a "Make Symmetric" constraint.

Notes

When making use of X or Y axis as the symetric geometry, the persistent relation is automatically added, but when using a created geometry(such as a line), the persistent relation is not added due to design limitation. Therefore, it is necessary to explicitly specify by "persistent relation".
