How to apply a hydrostatic pressure starting at a distance from the open end of a tank which was designed upside down. 

Solution

Rotate the model for a better look at the opening. Then start 'Simulation -> Hydrostatic Pressure'.  Select the internal faces of the tank and accept. Select the vertex at the opening (Figure 2), and enter an Offset value. You will then need to click on 'Flip Gravity Direction' to start at the correct fluid level (Figure 3). Right Mouse button to accept. As a result, the symbols for the Hydrostatic Pressure will be displayed.
