NX Machining Multiple Parts on a Horizontal Mill using Paste Inside With Reference

A Tombstone is mounted on a horizontal milling machine so that multiple parts can be milled at the same time. Is it possible to create associative copies of the tool paths at each part location?

1. In Assemblies use Add Component to position the parts on the tombstone.

2. Use the Assemblies Wave Geometry Linker to create an associative copy of each Component.

3. Create a Workpiece for each part and select the Wave Geometry Link as Part Geometry.

4. Program the first part.

5. Select all the geometry in the first Workpiece including the MCS and right mouse button Copy.

6. Select each Workpiece and right mouse button Paste Inside With Reference.

7. All entities are positioned to the Workpiece Component including the MCS.

8. Change the Fixture number for each MCS if needed.
