NX Component automatically added to a reference Set

 A new reference set has components added to them automatically

 In the Reference Set dialog, uncheck the option for 'Add Components Automatically'.

 In the Customer Defaults, as shown below, Uncheck the option for 'Add Components Automatically' and restart NX. 

This  default has a Session specific Scope so it will affect all parts opened in NX.
