NX Unable to select threaded hole to create hole callout in Drafting.

If you have a threaded hole with relief chamfer on in Modeling, you might have a problem selecting the hole in Drafting to create a hole callout.

How do you resolve this issue?

If you have the preference, “Display Alerts on Warnings” on, then you would get the warning below as soon as you access Hole and Thread Callout command.

However, if you don’t have, “Display Alerts on Warnings” on, you will not be able to select the hole and wonder why.

You can either turn on the Alert from Preferences -> User Interface -> Options -> User Feedback -> Toggle on Display Alerts on Warnings. Or you just need to set your Load Options from File -> Assembly Load Options -> Scope -> to Fully Load Lightweight Display or Fully Load.
