NX How to remove UDF dataset that gets added under the item revision.

In NX, after adding a UDF and saving the part it will create a UDF dataset under the Item Revision.

The user attempted to Cut the dataset to remove it from Teamcenter, but after saving the part in NX the UDF dataset gets recreated.

To prevent the dataset from being created the "UG UDF" relation type can be removed from the Shown Relations in Teamcenter using Edit --> Options --> General --> Item Revision.

This should keep UDF’s from displaying under the item revision. If the Dataset still gets created, it is possible that  it's not a "UG UDF" relation.

To verify this, select the UDF and go to impact analysis in Teamcenter and select [where: referenced]. Double click the UDF to show what it's being referenced by, then select the referencing object and hover the cursor over the text and it will show the relation type. (you may have to jiggle the mouse over the UDF to get the popup).

If you find that it is a different Relation, hide that relation type as you did with the UG UDF's
