NX NX crashes when creating flange in Sheet Metal

After generating a new body using Cleanup Utility command, NX crashes when trying to create a flange to the body.

Reproduced Steps:

1. Prepare a sheet metal model by using “Tab” and “Bend” commands

2. Create a new body by using “Cleanup Utility” command

3. Select an edge on the side with the bend by “Flange” command

The behavior is due to NX bug and occurs in NX 1926 – NX 2006. It is currently under investigation, so Siemens will keep you informed through this article about updates such as the fix or others.

Occurrence condition : If the following two conditions are met.

1. There are one or more bends in the body generated by the Cleanup Utility

2. Choosing edge on side with bend by “Flange” command

Note: The same phenomenon also occurs when using the "Cleanup Utility" on the sheet metal created by "Contour Flange" or "Lofted Flange".
