NX If UGPART(Drawing) is renamed in Teamcenter, it cannot be opened from the History tab

Renamed drawing doesn't open from History Tab

  1. Create new model

  2. Create new drawing

  -> Model and drawing are added to the History tab as a recently used file.

  From Teamcenter

  3. Select drawing dataset and right-click

  4. Select Edit Properties -> OK

  5. Rename drawing dataset

  6. Select [Save and Check-In] button -> OK

7. Restart NX.

8. Select the renamed drawing from the History tab

But renamed UGMASTER can open even after changing the dataset name.

In Teamcenter only one UGMASTER dataset can be created under Item revision but whereas UGPART datasets can be created more than one.

Opening UGMASTER dataset after renaming in Teamcenter, is working as designed, we do not identify UGMASTER in NX using dataset name as it is always one under an item revision, but in case of UGPART, it is identified using dataset name. and since it is changed, we get the above message.
