NX How to control whether Reference Only or Non-Geometric components are included in Mass Property calculations

Customers may or may not want their reference only or non-geometric components to be included in a Mass Property rollup calculation. Paints, adhesives, etc may contribute to rollup calculations in a significant way and justify their inclusion. How can this be accomplished? 

There are 2 customer defaults to manage the behavior of Reference Only and Non-Geometric components participations in Roll-up calculations.
