NX How to control Reference Set precedence for Mass Properties calculations

Customers may have invested effort in defining and managing specific reference sets in their assemblies. How do customers ensure that the correct objects are included in Mass Property rollup calculations based on these reference sets?

These is a customer default in NX that allows customers to manage this requirement.

So given the setup in the image above, NX would look first for a “FINAL_SOLID” reference set, and preferentially use that to calculate mass properties. If “FINAL_SOLID” did not exist in a given part, NX would then look for “SOLID”, and if that doesn’t exist, fall back to “MODEL” and lastly to “Empty”.
