NX for Manufacturing

Summary

Details

The new "ISO Standard" calls for the word "CLEAR" to replace the legacy word "RAPTO". This causes problems for users that need to export out the "CLSF" for non-NX Postprocessors.

ISO Standard Output

     CYCLE/DRILL,CLEAR,0.1250,FEDTO,-1.2878,RTRCTO,AUTO,IPM,10.0000

Desired Output

     CYCLE/DRILL,RAPTO,0.1250,FEDTO,-1.2878,RTRCTO,AUTO,IPM,10.0000

    • Copy the clsf_rapto.tcl to the UGII_CAM_TOOL_PATH_DIR

Sample line for the dat file... CLSF_clear-to-rapto,${UGII_CAM_TOOL_PATH_DIR}clsf_rapto.tcl,${UGII_CAM_TOOL_PATH_DIR}clsf.def

      Outputting the CLSF

        • On the RIbbon - in the "Operations" group - select "More" - select "Output CLSF".
          • Select the entry you added to the "template_clsf.dat" file (Please see sample dialog box below)

            4. Note: The "CLEAR" word will be changed to the desired "RAPTO".
