Converting dft to dxf files with images creates 2 files
1. Instead of inserting a Bitmap, choose the command 'Insert Object' which can be found on the Sketching Tab of Solid Edge Draft.
2. In the 'Object' Sub-menu select the Option 'New', with the Object Type set to be 'Paintbrush Picture' then click OK - this will open the Paint application.
3. In Paint choose 'Paste from' and select the Bitmap that you want to embed into the dxf File.
4. Close Paint and place the selected Bitmap that is attached to the Mouse-pointer anywhere on the sheet. When then saving this draft file as a dxf, the Bitmap will be embedded in the dxf.
