Solid Edge Disable Recent Files thumbnail popups

In the Solid Edge Open -> Recent Files page when hovering over a recently opened file, a large thumbnail popup will trigger:

How to disable or prevent this popup thumbnail?

To disable the popup thumbnail, use a registry editor to modify the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Siemens\Solid Edge\Version 222\UI\MRU Options\Enable Tooltips = 0

With "Enable Tooltips" set to 0 the popup thumbnail is now disabled:
