Teamcenter How assignment status icons works in Easy Plan with Multi BOM Management ?

Assignment status icon shows partial match in Easy Plan and in RAC shows the full match for the same structures.
How assignment status icons works in Easy Plan with Multi BOM Management ?

1) Login to Teamcenter.

2) Create EBOM with Two Childs.

3) Create Manufacturing BOM from above EBOM with ME Create Mirror MBOM AH handler using File -> New -> Workflow processes.

In New Process Dialog check -> Select the Workflow name from drop down and click on process Template tab for ME Create Mirror MBOM AH handers to Create Manufacturing BOM from Engineering BOM Click on -> Ok.

4) Search the MBOM in General Search box with EBOM name.

5) Create Collaboration Context i.e CC for Engineering and Manufacturing BOM.

6) Unload the CC and reload the CC structures.

7) Perform the Accountability Check to compare the structures using

Tools -> Accountability Check -> Advanced Accountability check

Check the inclusion rules,  Reporting, Partial Match tab  to set the conditions to compare the structure and Click on -> OK.

8) Partial match observed. This is correct behavior.

9) To Compare the structures in Easy plan as like RAC, login to Easy Plan with MBOM Workspace.

10) Open CC structure in Easy Plan from Favorites.

11) In EBOM MBOM Alignment page, we can see the Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM with Assignment status icon i.e partial match shown for child object.

12)  In order to see for what properties this partial match occurred Click on Assignment status icon and select the Compare to EBOM.

13) You will get the details of difference in Comparing instance window.

This is correct behavior, in Easy Plan Accountability Check will take by default setting and will shows the Partial match. Accountability check in Easy Plan is controlled by RAC settings.

14)  Remove the Properties that is Primary revision configured causing the partial match in Easy Plan and rerun Accountability check report in Manufacturing Process Planner -> Click on OK.

15) Accountability check report shows Full Match as we removed the partial match properties causing the partial match.

16) To See changes which we did in Manufacturing Process Planner, Login to Easy plan and Open CC which contains EBOM and MBOM. Still we can see the partial match as the Accountability Check setting are not saved and not reflected for Easy plan.

17) In order to sync the Accountability Check setting to Easy Plan, need to save Accountability Check setting for Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM  in Save available settings preference.

18) Go to Edit -> Options and search the MEaccountabilityCheckSettings preference to see whether Accountability check settings are saved for full match. Check the value in preference.

19) Now login to Easy Plan again with MBM workspace.

Open CC in Easy Plan.

Full Match observed, this is correct behavior.

Note: - We performed the above use case for Item type Objects in Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM. But if the structure created with Part type, we have to save Accountability check setting for Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM which consist of part.

If MEaccountabilitychecksettings.BOM.BOM preference is blank for Part type structures, then it will take by default values and will shows partial match in Easy plan and full match in RAC. Which is wrong behavior.

20) We have to update MEaccountabilitychecksettings.Part.Part preference by below process.

21) Go to Edit -> Options and search the MEaccountabilitychecksettings preference to see whether Accountability Check settings are saved for full match for Part.Part.

22) Copy the Value from MEaccountabilitychecksettings.Part.Part and paste in MEaccountabilitychecksettings.BOM.BOM value.

23) Now login to Easy Plan again with MBM workspace

Open CC structure.

Full Match observed for Part Type structures as like RAC.

24) There are 8 assignment status icons in Easy plan and only visible in Easy plan not in RAC.
