Teamcenter How to create an Interdependent LOV for Classification

Description:

I am looking to create 2 LOV's where LOV 2 is dependent on what was set in LOV 1.

1. Pump X
2. Pump Y
3. Pump Z

LOV 2

• 70002 Pump Size
• Pump X
• 100
• 150
• 200
• 250
• Pump Y
• A
• B
• C
• D
• Pump Z
• A01
• A02
• A03

Attributes

1145 Pump Type (-70001)

1146 Pump Size (-70002)

I am trying to make the attributes dependent on each other.

Please find below the steps I used to create the cascade LOV.

1- Go to KeyLOV and click on "Create a New Instance"  

2- Enter an ID for the KeyLov that starts with a negative number

3- I named the top LOV (header) as "PUMP"

4- Then selected "PUMP and added one submenu called "A:PUMP Type"

5- Under "A:PUMP Type" added three submenus and named them 

A1: Pump X

A2: Pump Y

A3: Pump Z

6- Then I kept adding a submenu under each Pump type

7- Then, under each Pump Size I added "Add Entry"

and named the entries as follow:

8- Save it

And when it is time to classify, it works as expected :
