An error occurs when attempting to open an Office file inside of Active Workspace:
Solution
To resolve this, it is best to get a verbose version of the log file. Open a powershell command and run:
set-officewebappsfarm -LogVerbosity Verbose
Restart the OOS Server by running:
Restart-Service WACSM
Rerun the use case and obtain the new log file.
It is advised at this point to turn off verbose mode by:
set-officewebappsfarm -LogVerbosity None
Look for the following error in the log file:
Medium WOPI - CreateWopiHttpRequest failing due to invalid host [wopiUrl: UREDACTED_(xA+f7qMs2kf7T2Syyd8ZHd7wTgricjmjHIZDBwUE6wI=)] aa6b944e-4300-448c-8625-176b996c4c63
If this error exists then run the following:
New-OfficeWebAppsHost -Domain <domain name>
