NX Technical Data Package Attachment option does not show Direct Model (JT) dataset as selectable

When performing Publish Technical Data Package command, if using the Attachment option of select attachment from Teamcenter, the Browse for attachment dialog does not reveal Direct Model (JT) dataset as a selectable dataset.

Solution

There are two use cases for Direct Model (JT) dataset attachment:

Case#1: Attach Direct Model (JT) dataset from the current working part to the PDF. This means UGMaster dataset also exists.

The JT Dataset (which is Multicad type) will not show if there also exists an UGMaster dataset.

The solution is to use publish Method of "JT plus PDF":

Case#2: Attaching to some other Direct Model (JT) dataset where UGMaster dataset does not exist, the attachment tab provides the File Select dialog that will show the JT dataset.
