When working in NX and using an imported STL file the graphics look just fine. But as soon as the STL file is opened in a CAM setup within manufacturing, the model suddenly looks faceted and edge are very coarse. We tried to solve this by changing the settings in the Visualization Preferences, but this also does not help.
The part is not partially but fully loaded.
Solution
The issue is because the STL model is loaded lightweight, and lightweight data of the STL imported file is not as detailed as Native NX lightweight data. If you go to the Assembly Navigator Tree (ANT), right click the component, and select "View Exact". Now the edges look correct, and the jigged and faceted edges are looking round again.
