NX How do I exclude some component in the assembly from the total Mass calculation?

If you work in NX Managed environment and would like to exclude some components from the mass calculation at the assembly level, what do you have to do? 

To exclude some components from the mass calculation in the assembly, you would have to:

 1) First you would have to make the component reference only by select the component --> RM --> Component Properties --> Assembly Tab --> Component --> toggle on "Component is Reference-Only".

2) Set Customer default to "Exclude Reference Only Component from Mass Calculation" as in the setting below:

  File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults --> Gateway -> Materials/Mass --> Miscellaneous --> Toggle on "Exclude Reference Only Components from Mass Calculation"
