We deliver Standard Parts with each version of Solid Edge, and it is always useful to know the version numbers and make sure to have the latest version installed.
SolutionWith each Solid Edge version we deliver Standard Parts. The version for the Standard Parts does not match the Solid Edge version. If no modifications have been made the version number does not change. Some Standard Parts need modifications either because the standard has changed or fixes were made to the parts. If so, then those new parts get new version numbers. The free content delivered when installing the Standard Parts Administrator with the option to install Master Parts has another version number to that of the parts delivered with the Machinery or Piping Library.

If you see issues with a certain Standard Part, make sure you have the latest version registered in your Standard Parts database.
