Jt file is not getting imported to Plant Simulation from Teamcenter.
When loading the 3D view on the object, the expected jt file is not showing up.
Solution
Cause of the issue:
Direct Model dataset had export restriction in ACL rules.
Exception: PickAndPlace type will not replace the JT by design, this import behavior can be changed in Plant Simulation.
Explanation:
Plant Simulation includes the JT datasets in the AppInterface export, but not the actual JT files. When the user imports the AppInterface Sync in Plant Simulation, we use FMS to pull the JT files from Teamcenter, with the information we already have from the JT datasets.
So, bottom line, for the creation of the Sync of the AppInterface, the user needs access to the JT datasets, for the import to Plant Simulation, the user needs access to the JT files in the FMS volumes.
In general, if the user wants to export data from Teamcenter to an external application, it is recommended to perform all steps with a Teamcenter user that has access to all data required to export
